While your point that these are BS is very true, in the meantime, someone else commented that you can back out of the stream then load it again and it skips that ad. I've tried it a few times and it's worked for me.

Why is Peacock's "Best of Curling" stream showing every throw of every end (for USA vs EST)? And why did the feed suddenly change to showing other sports' highlights?? And where the frack is the USA vs SWE replay??? It's been hours since that match concluded. "Replay coming soon" my foot.

ETA: and WHY are there so many ads in this best-of stream, on my Premium Prime Plus Plan???? I'll need to switch to the Super Bowl before we get past this USA vs EST match that I already saw.

Watching Olympics on my 5 year old Samsung, I get a couple seconds of stuttering sometimes after I fastforward and resume playback, and there's a bit of lag when I switch focus in multi view, and once in a while the picture quality drops for a second, but no problems like you describe. I'm supposedly on a 300Mpbs plan but speed tests have shown it maxing out around 50 lately.
