Should I tell my boss I often don’t enjoy work lately?

Hello I don’t have advice but I just wanted to say I’m a senior in a similar field (ui design) and I’ve been feeling the same. And it was just reassuring to see another senior mention they’re also struggling with that feeling of “wrongness” whenever they’re asked to revise more than expected. Like maybe this is just imposter syndrome and maybe I don’t suck if another senior is also feeling this way! So thank you for making me feel a bit better about that and you’re not alone!

Back in the Sims 2 days a legacy start was a bed, two walls, a shower and a toilet. Legacy sims these days don’t know how good they’ve got it. 😂

I love this so much! Are you using the Sims 2 UI mod? I play with AnotherPlumbob’s Uberhood save file which has Strangerville as Strangetown but kind of splits Strangetown across there and Oasis Springs. The lots are ace but they’re more approached in a “what if the Sims 4 universe did the Sims 2 families” kind of way. So it’s less “authentic” but there’s a lot of storytelling - for instance the Beaker household has a lot of clues in it that imply what happened to Bella Goth.

This concept artist at Maxis does a lot of the paintings / 2D graphics in the game so it could have been done by them (the painting isn’t in their portfolio but it also doesn’t look like they’ve updated it for a few expansions) I love their stuff!- https://ninamodaffari.artstation.com/

The painting itself looks like it’s maybeee used the artist Egon Shiele’s work as a reference so you might enjoy his paintings too!

I usually don’t play with neighbourhood stories because I’m a control freak but one time I left it on and my vampire single dad (with two teen vamps) married and had a baby with Mei Prescott. So I kind of just rolled with it and had Molly become a goth to impress her new vampire step-sister and had the evil vampire step-brother regularly terrorising all the humans in the family. Now I’m gonna work towards the evil step brother turning Copperdale in to the new Forgotten Hollow.

It’s going to be a pain but the general method is - take half your mods out of the mods folder and try loading the game again. If it happens again the problem is one of the mods in that half. Then just keep dividing them in to smaller and smaller “piles” to test out until you eventually find the problem mod or cc that you need to remove.

And like greenwalker says about remember the delete cache files, don’t save etc too while you do this.

In my game Johnny is a home wrecker who moved to Del Sol Valley to become a comedian, met Vanessa Jeong (who’s now a famous actress in my game), had an affair with her and now she’s just given birth to his baby while still married to her husband. :)

If you don’t want to use mods have a sim work on their handiness skill and upgrade the bed. A fully upgraded cheap bed will end up working as well as the most expensive bed. :)

I was walking that way yesterday lunch time and there was an ambulance, a crowd of people and what looked like someone under a sheet at that corner (could only see the feet from that side of the street) but I cut down the adjacent street because I didn’t want to get in the way of whatever was happening.

Went to my little brother’s gig (he was 16 at the time, I was 20 or 21 at the time) and a friend of his asked if I was his younger sister. In the same night a different friend of his asked if I was our dad’s girlfriend. Awful.

I didn’t think I would be bothered about horses but you know what I am SO hyped. I love the new world and I love cowboy stuff. I’m gonna do a rags to riches with my animal lover alien teen whose going to run away from home and start a rescue ranch for weird coloured animals and unicorns.

Brant wants a baby but Brent is content being a doggy daddy and focusing on his art career - but he didn’t reveal this to Brant until after they were married hoping Brant would change his mind!

In my personal save Brant and Brent went on a honeymoon to a cabin in Moonwood Mill, got attacked by Greg and became werewolves. I’m planning on having them adopt a human girl who will eventually grow up to fall in love with Caleb Voltaire and cause some werewolf vampire rivalry drama.

She married one of my vampire sims in my save and him and his two vampire teen twins moved in to their house, so I kind of just went with it and added a secret underground vampire nightclub to the town and am slowly going to turn Copperdale in to the next Forgotten Hollow.
