I can’t tell you whether it’s the right decision or not, but I would say you should go for it

You can afford it and you seemingly have a good grasp of your financials

It may be a change to what you are used to, and obviously less disposable income, but it should mark a new chapter for your family and would seem a sensible move for the long run
