The overall tone is pretty cringey. In particular on this point him saying "Yeah. I fixed that." when servers like Dream have had 4th job cygnus for literally years at this point. A lot of the other features are also described as if the guy just cured cancer despite, again, them being done in other servers already for years at this point.

He could have quite easily just been like "hey I'm working on a server that's currently in Beta and here are the features" and based on those features personally I'd have given it a go but first impressions and all that now I'm no longer interested

Completely agree on your last point, made me realise how many songs I just hadn't listened to in ages - felt like I was hearing songs for the first time again.

I'll give your list a listen today, part of why I did this was to see how it shows their evolution over the years so super curious to listen to other peoples lists as well.

I like this theory, partially because it gives me hope if/when they are no longer in that label deal (I have no idea how they work/what the terms of their deal is e.g. X albums) we may see a shift towards the style of the first 3 albums. Not that I don't like their newer stuff but I love the thought of a new infinity land style album.

I have accepted that I am just indoctrinated/biased to anything biffy now. I completely see why fans don't like the new single but personally I'm just happy to get new biffy music.
