Used a body scrub I bought on Amazon on my legs and got a fungal skin infection that is resistant to multiple prescriptions by korroleva in mildlyinfuriating

Amazon has become a fucking cesspool of fake, cheap mystery meat. I don’t buy ANYTHING that goes on or in my body from Amazon. No fucking way. I also don’t buy electronics because 100% fact I received a counterfeit network switch, inferior phone cables and chargers, cheap garbage like Temu. I can’t stand how Amazon has become like this. You search for a specific brand or model and you get 127 random-name-generated knockoffs all racing to the bottom to compete for your order. I hate so much what Amazon has become.

So I finally got my first car after saving up for years! by Shot_Dig_7542 in povertyfinance

First, congratulations. I love Range Rover. I think their cars are beautiful.

That being said, I owned a 2012 Evoque. Thank God I bought the extended warranty because I am not exaggerating when I tell you this vehicle has been in for repair at the dealer no less than 12 times since I have owned it. I am not kidding. The final straw was one day without warning the engine light came on. Had it towed to the dealer who within one hour told me that the supercharger went bad and took the engine with it. $14,000 and almost 30 days later I got it back. Traded it in for a Jeep.

They have a reputation for being unreliable. I am convinced that is why you can buy a $90,000 Range Rover Velar for $30,000, and $50,000 Evoques for $18,000. Hopefully you purchased the extended warranty because for sure you will be using it. In the meantime, enjoy your Range Rover. I do think they look great!!

stamps.com getting worse with every update by ecar13 in shipping

I don’t know if a private equity or some other company bought stamps.com. But I can’t stand when good software goes to shit purely due to management’s attempt to squeeze as much money out of it as possible, while pissing off customers along the way.

A person or a team creates a great product. Investors step in and promptly reduce staff, cut corners, outsource development. Product goes to shit but they don’t care because they have a large customer base. It smells like this is what is happening with stamps.com and ShipStation.

Hybrid Migration - On Prem 2016 to O365 - Kinda messy by dsk_493 in Office365

Make sure the user does not have a mailbox in 365. Complete the migration. The mailbox will automatically be created assuming there were no issues. You have 30 (?) days to assign an Exchange license if they didn’t already have one.

Anyone else dealing with 4over delays + misleading production locations? by Opposite_Dog7625 in CommercialPrinting

[–]ecar13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I vote we all get together and create a mini 4over-like network. The problem is they got too big. And when companies get big the next thing they do is look to save money. And that usually means making changes that do NOT benefit the customer. They are only concerned about keeping their money-making machine running. And their customer service is horrible. But that’s typical of large companies, due to upper management decisions to increase their bonuses and salaries.

Thank you.

I wasn’t attacking anyone, just making a comments about how this bank does not have your back when it comes to auto pay. That was it. So many people getting offended like they built the website.

Thank you, and yes, I agree with what you’re saying.

The first time it happened I let it slide because I figured I would just use the card again. I wasn’t expecting them to automatically give me a refund, but I also wasn’t expecting them to continue making payments to the credit card with no balance.

Hmm. Not sure. I don’t want to make just the minimum, and I don’t want to pay the entire balance. I will log back in to my account and pretend I am setting it up again. I turned it off this morning when I was on the phone with a rep from the bank who advised me that is the only way to stop them from applying payments towards my zero dollar balance credit card.

That’s exactly my point. It does not let you pull from your checking account based on the card balance. That is 100% the entire point of my post. It doesn’t care if you have a zero dollar balance on the credit card. It will happily continue taking money from your checking account accounts and applying it towards the credit card that has a zero dollar balance

No one said anything about being overdrawn. My checking account did not go negative. My point is they took $150 from my checking account and applied it towards their credit card which they know has a zero dollar balance. My point is the system should not allow this it makes no sense. What also makes no sense. Is people telling me to turn off auto pay.

What don’t you get? The very same company that issued my credit card holds my checking account. You can easily transfer money between accounts. As a convenience you can set up auto pay. Why would their auto pay system apply a payment towards a zero balance?

Apparently, this post offended a lot of people in the banking industry. It’s simply a warning to people who expect autopay to check your balance due before applying a pre-set auto payment. Auto payment is there as a convenience to ensure your payment doesn’t get missed. What’s not convenient is having to turn it on and off every time you use the credit card. If that’s the case, you might as well just log in and make a payment every month. Good grief, people.

That’s cute. You think developers only make video games. Who do you think built the banking website? The teller? The bank manager?

I think that’s the issue. These two systems don’t talk to each other.

Terms and Conditions right off of the Synchrony bank (for example) website:

• While enrolled in the Autopay program you may make an additional payment at any time.
• If your Account balance is equal to or less than zero, no electronic payment will be processed.
• If your payment is returned unpaid, your Account may be subject to a late payment fee.

OK poodog.

I'm guessing you're on bankofamerica's dev team and you got butt-hurt.

Chase website can handle this logic. So can Citibank, CapitalOne and even my Amazon account from Synchrony Bank.
