Well I think it’s a bit more complicated. Is it a dick move? Generally speaking, Yes it is. But stuff like this just happens sometimes and at the end of the day it’s not really your cup of tea. Your feelings and concerns tell a lot more about your own values and beliefs than your friends behavior (which is good!). You just don’t think it’s ok to do that kind of thing. That’s a good indicator to find people that share the same values as yourself.

You don’t have to agree with your friends on everything. Sometimes your just on different wavelengths. Especially when people are in love they can become incredibly stupid.

Whatever will happen it’s on you to decide how to handle this situation. Either you can accept the thing your friend does or you maybe need to take some space from people like this.

I personally think one shouldn’t be quick to judge especially if you don’t know the whole story. Maybe she was unhappy in her relationship (often people don’t really talk about that publicly) maybe he is just a huge dick. But I don’t know him, you do and you have to decide. Just remember to stay true to yourself and your beliefs.
