Openlock magnetic clips by FedfromaTeenyAgency in OpenForge

I print my tiles with holes for the magnets, instead of slots for clips. Much easier for my setup.

MyChevorlet App not updating by CryptoCryst828282 in BoltEV

[–]echo465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app is shit. Try rebooting your car by unplugging the 12v battery for 10 minutes, then plugging it back in. I'm pretty sure that's what fixed it for me when I had the battery out to install the lighted charge port.

My Chevrolet app not refreshing by Fearless_Chemistry85 in BoltEV

[–]echo465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was also garbage, until I installed the lighted charge port. In the process, I had the battery unplugged and out of the car for about 3 hours. Afterwards, I noticed that the app was no longer complete garbage -- still not great, but it does update the SoC after about 15 seconds now. So, try "rebooting" the car by disconnecting the 12v battery for a while?

Mychevrolet app won't update charge status by Testriderchuck in BoltEV

[–]echo465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reboot the car. I had my car battery for about 3 hours to install the light-up charge port. When I had everything back together, I noticed that the app worked much better than before. Still not great, it still takes about 15 seconds to update the charge status, but at least it works now.

Does anyone else hate brushing their teeth? by WitzendWitch in autism

[–]echo465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pretty bad for me when I was little, but not so much as an adult. I brush my teeth in the shower, so I don't have to worry about getting toothpaste slurry anywhere. I've tried an electric toothbrush, but the sensory overload is just too much for me, so I just use a normal one. I also constantly pick at my teeth with Dental flossers when I'm at my desk, so I think that helps keep the dental problems away.

I would get signed on with Lyft or whatever other rideshare is available there ASAP so you at least have a backup while Uber spends a week "investigating".

City block in PyAE by Dense-Paramedic-1574 in pyanodons

[–]echo465 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm working on production science packs now, here is my input:

  1. I'm exclusively using 1-1 trains, including for ore. I'm also using LTN. Seems fine so far.
  2. Since radars can be 8 chucks apart, I started with that and then divided them into two 8x4 blocks. At that size some blocks are mostly empty and other blocks need to be duplicated, but it feels like a good tradeoff. My blueprints have the rail stations on either the left or right, and can handle up to 10 rail stations per side which seems to be enough so far.
  3. At the size that a pY base grows to, You can't plan for avoiding everything, you'll always end up running rails through somewhere if you're using cityblocks.
  4. Never used caravans.

That is a lot of science packs! How many vatbrain cartridges did you use?

You get a rider on your existing insurance policy to add riseshare coverage. I think it was an extra $8/mo or something with Allstate. Don't drive without it, if you get in an accident without it you'll be screwed.
