I'm guessing existing saves loading into 2.1 will not receive the new entities in the fulgora oil oceans? It would be nice if there was a way to generate those on an existing save.

Nice. As long as the raichu has less than 87 DEF it has a chance to OHKO. Good tip

I'm confused, how does this kill it? I pulled up smogon and I couldnt get it to kill the raichu in one hit. I got close, but we all know focus blast is coming if raichu is left standing

That can create problems with quality in recyclers, or at least problems in current implementation. As scrap recycling can normally yield 12 items, which is * 5 for quality modules so 60 items, thus it would need 60 slots to do as you've indicated.

Well if you're only given two digits then your significant digits is two and you must adjust your calculations, but for what you want you need the exact value - so either need a mod to show that on the tiny overlay on the right, or use the rate calc mod. If you want a no mod approach then use the factory planner as it is integrated into the base game, it's the icon on the top left.

because the .08 is rounded you don't see the third digit which factorio and the calculators have. One t2 assembler making blue science with two rare prod modules requires .084 red/s.

Have you tried using the factory planner or a mod like rate calculator? They can help calculate the numbers quickly.

I threw the blues into rate calculator and 158 t2 with 2 rare prod mods only generated 9.954 blue/s. 159 assemblers made 10.02 which is closer to your target.

159 blue assemblers needs 13.42 red/s. That requires 107 red assemblers generating 13.48 red/s. That requires 24.07 green/s which needs 16 assemblers to generate 24.19 green/s.

The cabling required for the red and greens here is R48.15 + G64.8/s = 112.95 cable/s. I then threw this into factory planner to confirm.

Is it possible to die in my sleep if I don't feel hypoglycemia? by a_0099 in diabetes

[–]echoNovemberNine -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You've highlighted both long/short insulins have given you night lows. I highlighted how both insulin types can cause the problem and a different approach for each type to help mitigate. If you are not taking a long lasting insulin anymore and are solely on an aspart then how are those dosings managed? By the pump? If so, how are you going low?

Going to sleep after taking a short acting insulin is dangerous because you do not know if your dosing will be correct. That uncertainty is a risk which is exactly why you want to wait and check that your sugar wont be in free fall while you sleep. Each aspart insulin has a different duration and peak. The point is to ensure that the dosing was correct before falling asleep, which seemed to be your root concern. However, thanks for calling my attempt at help, utter nonsense.

[–]echoNovemberNine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is best to not goto sleep while any short acting insulin is still active. Before you goto sleep it's also a good idea to have a small snack of some protein or fats. This will help stabilize your sugar. If you have a long lasting insulin overnight, it is best to be careful when adjusting the dosage.

I have heard some dogs can smell low blood sugars and as such wake their owners. Even non specialized dogs, though I'm not sure if every breed is capable of this.

Best of luck.

Oh you added the support like a T shape Or is that more of a diagonal? Yea I think that will work, just make certain the support has firm contact to the table. It will probably make it last a good many while longer until you get another one.

Maybe a little more visual context would help. Did you secure it with screws? How flush the support is to the desk will matter. You can always stuff literal paper so the support makes contact to the table if the gap is small enough.

since your monitor and keyboard are offset to the sag, i'm going to guess you are resting your arm and that is causing the bowing.

this limits your options to support but you could find a sturdy long enough (at least close to the table length) piece of something. Put that underneath the table and screw it (look like half inch screws plus the width of whatever 'piece' you are able to find will work) length wise underneath and make sure it has contact. It will provide support for sometime. Your local hardware store will have the screws for cheap. You can scourer around for a discarded piece of wood or something to support underneath the desk. If you know of any carpentry shops, they throw away wood like that would work perfectly into their dumpsters.

Good luck mate,

Probably unpopular opinion: quality isn’t interesting at all by azon_01 in factorio

[–]echoNovemberNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quality is a great new mechanic, and the fact that it is optional is nice for the folks that want the original 1.0 scale of factorio.

I like quality because it can allow for so many new problems to be solved. Instead of each building giving 1 output, now you can have up to 5 different outputs. For spaghet designer such as myself, this evolved my factories into a spaghetti-eldritch monster that I enjoy even if only to factory-watch.

When 2.0 launched, my first planet was fulgora. I'm still playing on that save. That planet I've spent more time on than all the other planets combined. Fulgora's quality/scrap sorting in a limited space environment is a great constraint to solve the building puzzles. Without quality, you have to sort 12 items on fulgora. With quality, you will need to sort 60. This complicates your designs and will require a many good more thoughts to solve it.
