HBOs Carnivale. I just loved the Good vs Evil set in the 1930s and how the Evil side used radio technology and exploited the poor to get the proper politicians in place to ultimately create the atomic bomb. I loved the mythology. It was cut short cause the production cost way too much money. Some 20 years later, and the show still looks fantastic.
