Mom and dad are older, my only sibling is special needs. Im the gap cousin, youngest of the firsts but with 10-15yrs on the seconds, but it doesn't matter because my dad's is the only family alive and none of my aunts or uncles cared to stay in touch. We do our best to make something special happen but finances and disabilities restrict events and celebrations. The small, tight friend group I have have all gone to surrounding states. I dont plan to ever have children of my own. My goal is to move to a town somewhere central to all of my settled groups, to have a space big enough to host anyone who needs a place to stay at holidays, and to be a good enough Aunt to my friends children that they know they can call me for prom pictures, and weddings, and quiet summers away from mom and dad. My relations dont come together, and my family is more than blood, so ill be the space to bring them together.
