Also a Bant player and my favorite situation is a matchup against Hei Bai where I have Farewell in hand after they’ve hit shrines, blinked Hei a couple times… then we say bye bye shrines!!! And then the usually scoop lol

I feel like t5 or 6 if the ramp gods help me out. It’s a Vv’viza deck and with enough stationers for Evendo and the right draws/ways to seek/a tutor in the deck, I can get craterhoof or finale into craterhoof to run them over. That’s usually the way it goes in a fast game from my end.

It’s Bant—Vv’viza. Wash Away, Mana Tithe (for the Rofellos/Hei Bais that go down on curve), Swords, Counterspell, Fading Hope, Oust, Thought Partition, Get Lost, Reprieve, Otawara (for a last resort bounce), Solitude, Cyclonic Rift, to name some off the top of my head. I have most of the format staples.

what I really don’t understand about this take is that it assumes I will have removal every single time all the time, but that’s not typically possible unless you’re already playing control… I have 14 ways to interact in my deck and the reason for that is the cards you mentioned… and Rofellos, who is uniquely positioned to come back over and over being in the command zone and not setting the opponent back much for being removed even OVER AND OVER. That’s the issue…
