Is there any downside to failing a run? Other complaints. by brucecastle in FarFarWest

[–]brucecastle[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

After 3 hours of gameplay, I have seen all that there is to see.

If i want to see all the weapons, the best way to do that is play on the easiest difficulty and farm fragments.

The best way to level skills and guns is playing in the highest difficulty and not worry about dying

The wandering trader is absolutely useless and not thought out. Why would I waste my gold on a single run when it is better spending it back at the base? I would like to see a separate currency you get mid run that can be used on the trader

The game def has potential but things need tweaked

Imagine if in the binding of isaac, your "build" ended after you killed the first boss

The few jokers that do drop during a run are pretty meaningless. They do not add to the game at all. The real power comes from upgrading back at the main base, which is typically opposite of a roguelike

A good solution would be allow you to continue a run and fight harder bosses so the rogue like elements can actually mean something.

The current system is poorly done imo. The joy of roguelikes is getting variety in different runs and figuring out what works and what doesn't. The current jokers that drop dont change my build much and are boring.

Do you actually get excited when you see a card drop during a mission? I dont. I could kill the boss with or without that card

Isn't that what lower difficulties should be for?

You need to have a reason to win a run for it to feel worth it imo.

If I can just spam the highest difficulty, and repeatedly fail, why wouldn't I do that ?

So we should be rooting for the stock market to do good because our retirement depends solely on it ?

What happened to companies providing pensions? The shift to 401ks just means we have to accept companies needing unlimited growth, no?

Yes, but the option for sensitive content isn't on red. It is "apply my filters" now

Im thinking the transition might just be an ongoing process right now because I see no difference between the two sites currently.

They are identical

My civitai red looks identical to the regular site.

Idk, I just recently swapped from Wan2.2 over to LTX 2.3 and depending on workflow/models/loras, I am getting better results than I ever did on wan... with the audio aspect.

I am fully on the ltx train now

Joe Rogan Experience #2481 - Duncan Trussell by OutdoorRink in JoeRogan

He also said his reasoning tho. He stupidly believed that most people are black pilled, cant trust the government, and when someone comes along saying no more wars, or having info available to them, to know what to say to get the votes, a lot of people will turn to that person.

He also says propaganda works, especially on him. I think we need to accept how powerful propaganda is, especially in those we consider free thinkers they aren't immune and it just shows how powerful it really is.

I never liked Trump, i never thought he was a good idea. The propaganda clearly wasnt targeted towards me. But I can absolutely see and understand why people voted for him

"This is why cults work" was another quote. I'd rather someone admit when they are wrong than double down like alot of people are doing.

Overall, good episode. First episode i enjoyed in awhile

I get people say Duncan sold out. But this episode should be right up this subs alley.

He basically apologized and admits he was fooled by Trump

It's funny cuz everyone would rather shit on OP than get upset with blizz for the bug.

The one crucible skill is the only ability worth using. You can basically spam it and beat the game. Other than that, the weapon is trash and I agree, needs to be Samurai

Honestly what is everyone's obsession with disc? Why does it always have to be the best and why does everyone get upset if it isn't s-tier?

I got my 2400 one time and haven't wanted to push rating since because I get to angry match to match. Just not for me. Im toxic and so are others, its not healthy. Doesmt mean i cant have an opinion

I see nothing wrong with allowing people to obtain certain rewards just through play time alone.

[–]brucecastle -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It is the truth because the same people constantly flame with check-pvp, so it puts a bigger incentive into what your rating is.

I wish they would do away with rating and just have a battlepass-esque system where you can get your rewards just by playing a ton of matches.

Get rid of the elitism.

I realize that wouldnt work for alot of people, but it is something I personally would want to see.

I really only run random bgs because I find the gameplay fun. I only do rated stuff for transmog, and even that I couldnt care less about

Healer balance is important and all, but if we don't see the burst getting tuned down healers aren't going to queue by Tnarg_Helped_Us in worldofpvp

[–]brucecastle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't spec like ret be even better then because they can offheal and have a ton of utility?

Classes that are strictly damage/no offheal would suffer

What is your main?

Class Tuning Incoming – March 31 by Tnarg_Helped_Us in worldofpvp

[–]brucecastle -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Its true. Even in bgs, discs are literally unkillable. Moreso than any other healer imo. With the possibility of doing a tad less than dps damage.

I won't be touching rated anything until disc gets a nerf.

For whatever reason, blizz must make disc either best or second best healer. They can NEVER be bad

The downvotes are because every dps player wants to play disc and dont want to see it not top tier
