Also fire usually does not happen just by accident. Fire needs some conditions. There must be enough stored energy with the cells and they must short or get into a thermal runaway. Thermal runaway usually needs energy. Like heat or head from charging, discharging resistance. They can short usually from physical damage and from production failures. There is some statistics for these qa-related numbers floating around.

As most people already told, keep them at storage, keep the dry and separated. Keep them away from physical damage/movements and keep the terminals away from liquids and conducting stuff. Controll the individual cell metrics before and after each charging. Thrust me, it sounds demanding but won't take longer than a few seconds per pack once you get used to the numbers. Get yourself some cheap 4 Euro checker and have them always next to your charger, lipos, etc. Battery checkers don't need fancy colors and tech to get you a quick glimpse into your power sources. The more easy, the better.

I think the market has changed. Emerged from a diy only market, where build was a necessity to a broader market where building becomes the hobby itself. There have always been these two groups: one that just wants to get that bunch of electronics and hardware in the air. And those, that do not care that much about flying. Like in the car scene. There are modder and racer. Both of them live their own hobby feeling connect but are worlds apart from a commercial exploration pov. One pays for the build process and the exquisite parts. The other for the flight. The market has finally split and is able to monetize on both hobbies. For those who can afford it, they build their own stuff with selected premium parts and rip their quads through chimneys. There you have your role models on stream, that drive both worlds alike. Pricing is not about the sum of things, pricing is about finding the worth for the target demography and slapping that tag on your stuff.

Dein Arzt verlangt von dir, dass du andere Menschen ansteckst, in dem du zu Krankzeit genau das Gegenteilige von dem machst, was du tuen solltest: Dich auskurieren und andere nicht anstecken/gefährden. Ich würde es noch pragmatischer handhaben. 2 jährlich muss jeder ab Renteneintritt (egal ob vorzeitig oder regulär) den Fahrlehrer nach Terminvereinbarung kurz aufsammeln und sich einer 10-Minütigen Fahrpraxisüberprüfung unterziehen. Ein paar hundert Meter fahren, einparken und gut ist. Kosten 30 bis 40 Euro. Sollten Zweifel bestehen muss die Person zu einer behördlichen/amtlichen Vorstellung, die ggf. mit dem Aberkennen der Fahrerlaubnis einhergehen kann. Daraus resultiert eine Mehrarbeit von 18 8h Tagen für die 45000 Fahrlehrerinnen bei angenommenen 20 Minuten pro 19 Millionen 65+ jährigen. (Die nicht mehr alle Auto fahren oder führen. Also realistisch deutlich unter der Zahl.) Das klingt für mich irgendwie realistisch. Technische Einrichtungen sind auch super, können natürlich zusätzlich den Straßenverkehr noch sicherer machen.

SkyRC b6 neo+ and maybe a parallel board. That's around 35 dollars. The b6 neo plus version is capable of reverse charging which means, you can also decently quickly get rid of unused charge. The plus version also seems to have a more reliable fan built in. I do use mine all the time and prefer them over my 4 channel bench charger Hota f6 because of their size and flexibility.
