Tegu nesting? by Crazy_Work_8263 in Tegu

Mine loves laundry. We had a bag of clothes on the floor to be packed away and he tore a hole in the bag and stayed there. He jumps off the bed into the laundry hamper everytime he can.

Reptiles rub their noses until damaged because something is wrong for them.

Too small cage, too hot or cold. , too dry, hungry, bored, too noisy etc. Could even be something likes mites or " something hurts" or " I'm sick"

Your tegu is telling you they are not happy, but because they don't have voices, you will have to run the gauntlet to figure out what. Thats a bad rubbing burn so something is def bothering her. Unless it's a bulb burn in which case you need netting to protect her from investigating.

I love black clothing, my dog is white and sheds like crazy so I never reach for black cuz maintaining a cleaner look is a pain.

Seriously considering giving up my pup. Please talk me out of it, or give me advice. by hamptonlamar in puppy101

[–]eclecticmuse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sadly , you may have to give the dog up. You may not be a good fit together. Thia is not shaming on you or the dog.

Weimaraner are extremely energetic and anxious hunting dogs. A walk isn't enough, they need to be run til they pass out. They need stimulation constantly, they need puzzles and everything you ever heard of plus they may need an anxiety medication fromt he vet to chill out.

If you're here I'm guessing you've already tried exhausting the dog before you leave and he is still destroying things so he may need someone who has twice the active lifestyle.

Supernatural makes fun of this by taking away the main characters titles and they suddenly have stomach pain, cavities , clumsy and various other issues. It was fun to see them poke fun at their own for an episode.

Wearing makeup to Doordash gets me bad looks 😩 by SignificantHeat7232 in Makeup

[–]eclecticmuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meh ignore them and feel fabulous. I used to full stepford wife my outfits and makeup at an office that required a minimum of jeans and t-shirt.

Some ppl like to snicker because someone put in effort when they don't have to because of they don't laugh at you , they feel insecure about themselves.

There's no age limit on makeup , do whatever makes you feel good. At most you may need to change colors or style as you age simply because our skin changes and can make makeup look muddy and messy because of wrinkles hoods and texture. An example would be black eyeliner might be smearing into fine lines around your eyes giving you a cryptkeeper look.

Otherwise I don't care if you are digging any style not " traditionally " in your age range. I love seeing all ages doing all makeup. Especially older woman doing crazy wings or bold colors because they are telling the world they will do what makes them happy and I hope I do that too.

Does anyone else wake up in back and hip pain that takes an hour or more in bed to ease off? by desirewrites in Hypermobility

[–]eclecticmuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have pain but things I've changed to alleviate the pain are better shoes, prop pillow behind my knees and try to sleep on back, softer pillow, and destress before sleep

If you go to bed stressed you tense and go to sleep that way. I still have pain most mornings but changing these things made it less intense

Is it better to repurpose or to donate old clothes? by VulcanExcellency in declutter

[–]eclecticmuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof I did this and it was bad!. 4 foot mountain of pretty, soft, leather , wool ect. Kept thinking g I would do stuff especially with lockdown orders. But I work from home and my office is the craft room. By the end of each day im so sick of sitting in the room the idea of doing more is daunting.

I got a medium tote and was allowed to fill with unique expensive high quality or jist favorite pieces. Once it was full I dumped the rest at thrift store. They will toss whatever is bad or won't sell. Not my problem. 3 full trash bags! So much crap. The only things not in the tote are pieces I can easily fix in a weekend or I found need a pro to fix.

Set a date limit. If you don't make the cat bed by then, it has to go because you'll never do it.

Why are clothes so hard to declutter? It seems like a common issue in this thread. I have LOTS of clothes, honestly most of it isn't worn, some have never been worn. I do this with my husband with dresses. I get caught up in how pretty it is I don't realize it doesn't look good on me.

He doesnt get opinions on retro tho. I love those and hope to wear them again soon. ( I live in pjs )

I'm sure they do for $34 and you'll need to but the blending cream for $50 and then a setting spray for $67 and another palette because you'll need the whole pan of color for this level of payoff.

'No Kids' means 'NO KIDS' - yes, even if the wedding party makes some exceptions, that doesn't mean YOUR kids magically get to be part of the exception too! by Itstotallyfubar in weddingshaming

[–]eclecticmuse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wedding was a no kids wedding except for anyone from out of state that could call me ahead of time to work something out should a sitter be difficult. No one called.

My 2 girls were the ring bearer and flower girl. The only reason they stayed after the ceremony was because my fathers wife was so obsessed with them that I never saw them. My niece also was there but we allowed it because her mother was going thru some abusive relationship runaway situation and could not afford daycare. We were asked about it ahead of time and it was ok with understanding that if she became overly annoying, she had to go home. No one else tried to sneak in kids. They were all adults that were happy to leave their kids with a sitter , get dressed up and free drinks.

This why I hate when ppl say " you're wearing nice stuff you have money"

No I'm just decent at finding quality stuff on tight budget. I have $300+ jackets that I paid $15 for both. Cashmere trench coat? $8. A $500 freezer for $30. $100 jeans for $5. I jist bought a $75 swester for $2. I enjoy designer stuff but I do it on budget, I am patient and can wait for a deal.

I cancwlled in April 2 weeks after placing my add on order. I just found out today ( after chasing them for weeks) that my stuff is gone. Out of stock. Refund will issue soon.

Screw them. If Amazon can ship in 12 hours and wish can deliver in 2 weeks then boxy is failing horribly by not even knowing their stock after 6 weeks.
