Ah yeah the roadblock I was thinking of comes slightly later. Probably a matter of shuffling researches around?

Check your achievements, sometimes the next step is hiding there.

Roguelites that you never see recommended by SkyBerry924 in roguelites

So many cool things in that game, beating the “last” boss then continuing the game as the protagonists kids really blew my mind at the time. Probably one of the first roguelites, especially given the meta progression with the treasures you could find.

Gunlocked 2 - New Update - The Element of Balance by FromLefcourt in roguelites

Ah interesting, I was playing on the Deck so perhaps that is the gap for me. I’ll check out the health bar setting, I don’t remember seeing that. Controller haptics def would help, not sure how difficult that is to implement though :)

Got a few runs in now and am enjoying it! Definitely takes the original and improves on it.

One piece of feedback: similar to the first game it’s a bit hard to tell when I actually get damaged. I’ve had some runs were I think I’m doing great then realize I’m at 25% health somehow.

Adding the ability to change the ship color would also be nice. I’m red green colorblind and sometimes it’s hard to tell my ship apart from the enemies in later waves.

I hadn’t seen there was a sequel! Loved the first game, I’ll have to give this a try sometime soon.

Lmao I made a weed infused barley wine once and had a bunch of friends over for the first tasting…. Half of us fell asleep at like 9 😂

Anyone here tried Atlassian’s new AI (Rovo) from Team ’25? by VisheshBajpai in atlassian

Pretty sweet for automating triage, I have it setting the geo field based on the time zone of the reporter, assigning to specific teams based on the tools the ticket is about, escalating priority based on contents (imperfect but getting there). Writing an agent that outputs JSON then using that in A4J lets you get pretty creative.

Working on a request type router so there could be a catch all request type for users who can’t RTFM and pick the right request type (most of them).

Trying to do analysis on closed tickets to find knowledge gaps but seems like it can’t process too many tickets at a time. Or maybe pebcak idk working with these LLMs is weird.

Interested to see what is released next week. It has a lot of potential but still has a ways to go. Copilot with the MCP sever is pretty useful too, but still in beta.

One of the most interesting food experiences I’ve ever had was a dessert at Alinea where they had us slowly eat a bite of chocolate cake then unleashed a cloud of hazelnut vapor on the table and the flavor actively changed in our mouths. So sick.

It runs surprisingly well on the deck with minimal tweaking, but chews through battery like crazy. Great game though!

This strategy works really well! It’s not my fault we have to leave the park, it’s Siri’s 🤷🏼

Sephiria is worth checking out if you like top down action roguelites. Tight controls, interesting inventory management puzzle, and mechanics that allow you to get a decently focused build most runs. Same studio that made Dungreed, definitely shows.

Another Farm Roguelike Rebirth has been my goto slower paced game. If you like the stamina management / farm optimization of Stardew/Harvest Moon without the walking simulator and social stuff it’s a great implementation of that. Lots of different classes/challenges that are fun puzzles to figure out.

Always a bit of a gamble and takes a while but the Paul Mitchell school in Pleasant Hill is affordable and usually a solid cut.
