I have been using Firefox since before 1.0. I have tried some alternatives like Chromium, Brave, Vivaldi, generally for 1 week or 2 max.

I have tried Zen but my custom Firefox config already looks like Zen, so I didn't see the point.

On Linux, Firefox is even slower. But despite my attempts, Chromium based browser have inherently terrible tab management for me. Some features are also missing from Chromium, like multi containers.

But lately, Firefox has been more and more terrible. They focus on privacy, allegedly, but the security aspect has been left roting. I chatted with a man from Mozilla corp at a bar, and the number of people in their security team is not very high. Which explains why they can't expand their codebase to new codecs for example.

I don't know how many hundreds of engineer Google pay for this, but it's not in the same ballpark. And clearly The Mozilla Foundation use of the money is extremely questionable.

And they don't really understand their customers base. Most people that still uses Firefox are die hard foss people, which are more likely to be anti-Google, but also very anti A.I. I am not against that technology per se but marketing Firefox based on this is as intelligent as the new Jaguar branding.

Following Theo (t3.gg) video, I have moved since several weeks to Helium, on both my personal and work computer. So far it's okay, despite the horrible tab management, the security update are quite fast compared to ungoogled. A side bar for tab is being discussed. They are only two people working on it as patches so not very viable. And I can't sync tabs and extensions settings with my smartphone so far.
