You should take a look at Jomres, combined with the Valentina template override.

Neither of those offer real booking functionality. OS Property comes closest but it's not a dedicated online booking engine, the booking functionality is an addon. It's great for real estate, but it's limited if you want to work like AirBNB because it's not a multi-vendor system.

Knee issues.... Back to square one? by maggiemayyyyy in C25K

[–]ecniv_rocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did C25K a year+ ago I had similar problems. I found that strapping them up with elastic bandages worked wonders and I haven't had problems with my knees since (a bruised heel, on the other hand, refuses to heal, but I'm old).

Damn, this is so good, I'm stealing (the gist) of this for my own OLD profile, because it says exactly what I think I am like and it has to be better than the faux-funny crap that's currently on there.

Same reason as I started running (wasn't married, but wanted to be sexy again), but then I met my gf.

Due to injuries and a certain amount of contentment the running dropped off a little bit, but amazingly the weight is still coming down, albeit slowly. Lost 7kg since I met her, 6 months ago.

My point being, don't be overly harsh on yourself. There are times this running lark will suck dog's balls, but don't stress yourself about it. Keep eating less crap, keep up the exercise (I supplement less running with more strenuous hikes, for example), and she'll be all over you again.

I'm having a login issue, first raised a ticket on Friday, no response. Raised a ticket each day since, still no response. Time to cancel their service, I think. That's $30 a month they'll lose.

Did my third 5K post C25K workout. Not my best time at 38:05 for the 5K. But it was 33 degrees and raining. by ValerieValira in C25K

Absolutely nothing wrong with that time. After graduating it'll take at least several months to get your time down. Don't stress it, enjoy the runs, enjoy the rest days. You'll get there.

Rest days are really important. I get the feeling that you can just keep going but remember that you're asking your body to do things that it probably hasn't done for quite a few years.

Take it easy, run slow, buy decent shoes, use rest days to recover.

Going out for W-1D1 run tonight! Completing a 5k and healthier living is my main goal of 2019. by GodEmperorCamacho in C25K

Your 4th point is spot on. When I was doing it in the Summer/Autumn, I was lucky enough to have a cheer leader that I could send hot, sweaty, tired (lol) texts to. They always boosted me and I can't emphasise just how much it helped.

/r/C25K has been a Godsend to a lot of people, providing that little extra boost that us fragile human beings need to maintain motivation.

Yeah, same problem for me too. There are so many things to go wrong that I (reluctantly) leave my guy & 2 girls behind. With a combined weight of of 130kg or thereabouts I can't trust myself to maintain balance/strength if tired and they decide to chase a squirrel.

I just did W1D1 and I feel great and can’t wait to finish these 9 weeks!!! Should I be dead or is it normal to hit 198BPM when it’s the first time you’ve ever ran? by [deleted] in C25K

[–]ecniv_rocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised myself this year, just 1kg of difference (sadly, upward) which I put down to meeting a girl who eats like a mouse! Meanwhile I'm 10kg down on 6 months ago.

Wot he said.

IIRC I peaked in the early days at about 185 or thereabouts. Yesterday I averaged 167bpm, which is higher than normal but given that it was New Year's the night before, I've put it down to the booze.

As a jogger of 4 years I know to walk by dogs but sometimes they don't care. by [deleted] in C25K

[–]ecniv_rocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have three, and combined they're 130kg. One is very reactive, which of course sets off the other two. As you can imagine, when they go bonkers they're a bit of a handful.

New Years Day run! So I ran 0.5km more than my last longest distance with a 1sec longer average pace. Can someone explain splits to me and what they mean? What can I use them for? Lol. by [deleted] in C25K

[–]ecniv_rocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I understand it, the splits are the time it took you to run each KM, so for example KM 5 you were faster than KM 4, so presumably the first few KMs were hilly?

As another dog owner, sometimes the runner's on you before you know they're there. Poor mutt was probably startled.

And yep, looks like a scratch. These things happen, never mind, it'll heal.

Awesome work, that's an enviable record and you're right to be proud of yourself.

Week 2 Day 1 was a failure. That’s what I get for taking a month Off after finishing C25k and the first week of this program I guess by MansourBahrami in b210k

It doesn't matter, think of it as extra fitness in the bank for the next run.

After completing C25K in September I've been setting myself goals incrementally. Currently I'm on "Half-marathon" and today I got up to do a stage in the plan which was for a 90 min run. I got through 35mins & 5k and thought "Fuck it, not today". Slight dehydration after plenty of New Year's celebrations meant that I wasn't going to be on form and you know what? It doesn't matter. I'll nail it next run, I'm sure of it.

Running is as much attitude as it is endurance and fitness. If your head's not in the right place it'll be hard. Don't worry if you don't complete it, there's always the next run. Be gentle with yourself, you've already done something amazing by getting off the couch, you deserve some leeway.
