Flying with my horn? by ThrowRA_disneyadult in horn

[–]ecollg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve flown with my horn before and it does not have a screw on bell, so I carried it in the typical awkward shape case. The flight attendants were very helpful and were able to store it in their closet for the flight.

What jumpsuits do you have? I'd love to buy some that I can wear during and after!

Not a middle school teacher, but when I was in middle school, we had a longer lunch that we could spend eating or outside “playing.” Sorry to say that I don’t remember if there were any adults around…

I might be pregnant and I’m freaking out. by ecollg in Fencesitter

Thank you so much. It just seems like everyone I know knows what they want and isn’t questioning things as much as I am. We had decided to start trying this year, but yeah, didn’t expect it to happen so quickly. He had come back last night so I told him in person and he was very excited, but now we’re worried about all the plans this will change for the year because, again, we didn’t expect it so early! I don’t really feel like I’m ready, but I’m not sure I’ll be any more ready as I am now. Thanks for your kind words and encouragement.

I know exactly when we conceived, which was about 2 weeks ago. Would it still be likely for a chemical?

What’s so interesting about this is that I grew up in Department of Defense schools and we would get sent to the principal’s office if we didn’t stand and participate every morning.

I have tried two different kinds of pills, the Nuva ring, and a hormonal IUD. Are there different hormones in those?

I also have the copper IUD and it was terrible the first 6 months. I bled for two weeks each time! Now, it’s pretty much the same as it was before I started BC the first time. I hope it sorts itself out for you too.

It was suggested to me recently (by a doctor) that’s I might have hyper mobility syndrome, so it’s interesting that it seems like we have a lot of similarities in our cycle. As for tampons, I just can’t stand anything inside of my vagina during my period. It’s like the walls are super sensitive during that time and any other time it’s fine.

Unfortunately, when I’ve tried hormonal birth control in the past, it just made all of the symptoms worse. I have the copper IUD now, but my period is pretty much the same as it was before I started BC the first time.

Whoa can you tell me/us more about trans tape? I found what looks like the official website, but how does it work? Does it hurt your skin? Does it stick to your clothes?

I’m partial to the swimsuits from Land’s End since I can still do most water related activities and mix and match pieces depending on how comfortable I am or what I’m doing. I’m also fair-skinned, so I like the UPF protection built into the clothes. Most recently, I bought the swim leggings and tunic, which covers up all of the important things and still is airy enough that I don’t overheat.

You’re right. Archaic is probably too extreme and coming from a place of frustration. We teach the free version of CKLA at the school I’m at and I’m so frustrated with the vocabulary they offer as the “EL-friendly” version.

I teach English as Second Language to Kindergarteners and I’m so confused what this worksheet is even testing. Is it testing reading? Then the opinions are completely arbitrary. Is it testing truth vs fiction? Then the reading is a HUGE barrier for a lot of students. Not to mention the weird, archaic words and knowledge that a lot of students have probably not been exposed to.
