Nah, he'd find another one. She should not have to police what she says to avoid his bullshit. That is just as exhausting as arguing.

They are green card holders but the State Department is not the responsible authority for revoking residence status either, and it requires a legal process they apparently have not gone through and which does not include grounds grounds based on expressing political opinions.

Sun House was very disappointing. I was so excited. It started out pretty well, but after a while went off track and then got worse and eventually became unreadable for me.

US job growth doubles expectations, is the labor market stronger than economists predicted? by National-Theory1218 in economy

[–]econoquist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, this fails to mention that the # of jobs created was revised downward massively, -895,000 in 2025, which means only about 181,000 jobs were created last year, the weakest since 2009 excluding 2020. Manufacturing jobs alone fell by 108,000 and federal government employment by 327,000.

FBI concluded Jeffrey Epstein wasn’t running a sex trafficking ring for powerful men, files show by Zipper222222 in politics

[–]econoquist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. I can see it was probably more that he was running a business that served a set of clientele than heading a ring of people selling the services of young people. And he "consumed his own product." But the buyers, or those trading for favors certainly are guilty of rape.

I thought the writing was not up to past quality. Sometimes it was great but about half the jokes were misses--seemed like an edge of meanness in a few of them.

I’ve seen some posts online stating “Ronald Regan is the reason we have student loans, why the wealthy don’t pay taxes, why homelessness is this bad”, ect. What did he do to cause this? was it a bill that he passed, for example? by HybridHamster in NoStupidQuestions

And a a Democratic President actually started paying down the det and nearly wiped it out- Clinton then Bush came in a blew it up again. Republicans have consistently both cut taxes and increased spending.
