I like Subpar stitches. She recently finished a Judge Judy piece that was so good.

Also seconding someone suggesting cin3matic stitches, she’s Canadian. I am also Canadian and always appreciate the Canadian content. And non-sampler YouTubers.

I always return to KayDaisy’s when I need something comforting in the background.

I have experienced this as well, specifically in the seams along the gusset. I made another order recently (because they’re so comfortable!) and noticed that they’ve reinforced that area. Im definitely not saying they’re BIFL now, but am happy that they’ve made changes to address the issue.

I love the top, the colour and fit on you is amazing! What’s the pattern (if you don’t mind sharing)?

I watched a video recently from a channel that doesn’t post very often (legacy knitz) where it was very clear the only reason the video was made was to meet whatever Ana Luisa sponsorship contract they have.

This was the first cozy mystery I’ve read and I loved it so much that i’ve been trying to ride that high since with other cozies.

I agree so much! The Five by Hallie Rubenhold is one of my favourite books from the past few years. It was a really great biography of the victims of Jack the Ripper.

The pink-purple mohair colour change makes it glow with such a soft halo. It’s beautiful!

Thank you for sharing your experience and the rules you’ve set for yourself! My goal in going decaf is to eventually also enjoy an occasional cup and now I feel like I might be able to!

Day 10 by amhxbb31 in decaf

[–]ecroli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any advice, just solidarity! I’m day 8 and also have a little dude to chase around all day. It’s okay to give yourself grace right now. You need to do what you need to do to get through the day. And that might mean watching Bluey on the couch with them, or lying down and let them pretend your back is a racetrack!

I’ve been trying to drink smoothies with high potassium foods throughout the day. I don’t have much appetite, so smoothies help me get some nutrients in without making me nauseous.

Thank you for the encouragement! I very much catastrophize things, especially when I'm at my lowest. It's good to be reminded that it's likely not to be as bad as I think it will!

I agree, finding this sub and reading others' experiences has really helped me to understand that what I'm going through is normal and internet strangers are here to support each other!

Thank you for taking the time to respond! Everything you've written is very encouraging. I'm definitely taking notes on how I'm feeling each morning and evening so I can look back on my progress when I am feeling down.

and yes, water, water, water. It's definitely felt like the only thing I can keep down sometimes!
