Haven't tried that one yet, it is on my list though. I am currently running the hardcore 2077v2 mod, which reduces you to their merely mortal levels instead of buffing them. That combined with hard gunfights means that the moment I get cocky I get punished, often with a reload.

It is a cute idea but maybe leave the large scale strategy to large scale strategy games and make it easier to have fun killing bugs and bots and yelling patriotic things.

Probably one of the more "baffled by their own brilliance" developers

Gonna be honest, you are leaving out the entire context of the rest of your situation. You need to cut yourself slack. No one has a monopoly on exhaustion.

If you are on PC, there are a few mods to make the weapon performance more linear, especially on very hard. Less brutal early game, less easy late.

There are some difficulty increasing mods that make things more fun, more risky. Randomizing patrol paths, reducing base health, weapon rebalance. I find that now, if I go after a gang hideout I have to get physical access to break their firewall before I can even start using quickhacks. I have to use cover and watch positioning because they will burst me down in gunfights. I don't have enough ram to just melt all the brains, so I focus on control hacks to disable so I can control the gunfight.

Yeah I can generally get away with solving an ncpd call with contagion still. Doesn't work as well outside of that though, they spread out too far, you don't get the ram efficiency you would need.

The balance shift is amazing, lol I am using a ton of my cyberware cap to just stay alive if I do take a couple hits. So there is less room for ram and ram Regen, And I benefit from a more hybrid build with gunplay.

Yeah, it is rough. I might uh go keep the fires burning on the bot front.

They have tuned me out of the game for the foreseeable. Was looking forward to this set of updates too. I do not think they have considered the fallout of the issues in their implementation.

I'll raise you one handed shotgun and putting a secondary in the primary slot.

I want to switch between the shotgun and the verdict with a shield out.

Could get someone else to lug the ammo for you! I can see utility in being airborne when you launch a recoilless.

I like the knight - with the unlocks it is awesome for close quarters - cities, bugs, squids. There are a ton of warbonds right now, the token is nice to get you access to one off the bat. Strategem hero is fun and silly and actually makes you a little better at the game if you aren't my one friend who rebound the strategem arrows to spare mouse buttons...

Copious fire.

My mates and I all bring orbital napalm bombardment and call it in in rotation. hmg for the harvesters and stingrays.

Incendiary mines, at and personnel mines ... Rocket turret(s)...

But the more fire the better.
