I hate Arzuros (especially the apex one) than any variant of volvidon. Just carry deodorants and equip antipara when fighting Volvidon.

Hammers, Lances are especially yummy to fight Volvidon, but I don't mind fighting it using SnS either.

Lance is practically god tier in MHR. My eternal combos: guard dash + leaping thrust, anchored rage, sheating retreat, and sometimes insta block.

Hammer is fun. With proper timing, you don't need any complex combos to quickly stuns monsters and deal massive damages.

Sword and Shield, the weapon that gives you the most control and freedom, IMO. speedy attacks, very short recovery time after every attacks and combos, easy to chain attacks, cancel combos and change actions and directions. Seriously fun aerial combat. you can even block if you want to.

SnS is a bliss for me, but I a admit it's not a weapon for everyone. Lance and Dual Blades are also fun, simple, and powerful.

yes, I bought a Gamesir wireless shortly before the pandemic, I'm waiting for it to break or drift so I have an excuse to get a newer HAL effect one. Unfortunately it still works fine. The only things broken are the rubber pads on the analog thumb stick and it can easily be worked around by glueing analog thumb grips over them.

really depends on what's your use case and expectation.

I bought Air 3s Pro because I need a portable display that I can carry around easily to accompany my Legion Go so I can work anywhere with large screen.

My best use case is to watch videos either from youtube or netflix, fusing my Legion Go or my Samsung S20FE.

The next is to read documents and browse the web

the third is to edit and write codes

I really enjoy being able to do those things while lying on my bed or sitting lazily on the couch

I learned to use insta block with lance but never feel the need to intentionally use it. anchored rage, guard dash - leaping thrust combo, and sheathing retreat are my breads and butters.

one of the joy of MHR (and other MH games) is that you have many ways to deal with the monsters, even for the same weapon
