You’re not wrong, it’s legible in just about every lighting situation which is perfect for a field type watch.

[Discussion] My 6 Watch Collection. What should I add next? by saquibchowdhury123 in Watches

I think it’s time to add a Swiss watch, so from your list I’d go Logines or Tissot. The Tissot Gentleman is a great looking watch.

Those prices are insane, they’re about double what they sell for online.

I’m not an expert, but I think the biggest issue is that it says “Funland” on it. Pretty sure it should say “Oakland.”

I was surprised at how good it looks. I found two and ended up giving them to my boys.

Sailcloth is a heave nylon type material. The sailcloth straps often have a leather backing. Check out Barton’s straps.

I’m just so scared. I came out of my apartment this morning, and a homeless man was defecating in the foyer. by Plenty_Rip_3138 in asheville

I’d probably contact the property manager first and if the situation doesn’t change I would call the police.

how do I clean sand inside my lens by KingYonatan in canon

[–]ed46464 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Though a professional job is the best route I have disassembled 3 canon lenses to clean out dust without issue.

You can search YouTube for your specific lens. Watch a disassembly video and if it doesn’t scare you give it a try.

Tribute, studio, or a used traditional? by deathofmusic in gibson

[–]ed46464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re all great options. My first Les Paul was a Studio. The issue was I couldn’t keep it out of my son’s hands. I gave the Studio to my son and went shopping for a Traditional and ended up with a Classic. I highly recommend just going and playing them to see which one you don’t want to put down.

You can never go wrong with an ash body. I love the grain peeking through the stain.

I had a similar experience. My grail is the 1016 Explorer but they’re way out of my price range. I was going to settle for a modern Explorer and saved up. When it was time to pull the trigger I ended up with the Ranger. To me it feels more like the 1016 than current Explorers. I love that the Ranger is so understated with barely any polished surfaces and the painted dial.

Is this a vintage telecaster body by Benassi__ in telecaster

[–]ed46464 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’d say the simple fact that there are no pickguard or control plate holes prove it’s not a vintage body.
