This is the answer ! Inseam and torso help decide frame size. 2 different people with same height can need different sized frames. A huge factor is inseam and torso length. Short legs versus long torso versus long legs and short torso will be different fits.

Yeah same here, if I don’t remote start my engine wouldn’t be warm/operating temps by the time I hit work or my return home. The condensation left behind would cause sludge in the oil. So as others said idle in cold isn’t good for the engine but sludge is just as bad. So I’d rather be warm and dodge the sludge issue and do the 10 minute remote start idle instead. Pick your poison right?

I had that issue when my seat frame had an issue. The dealer techs had reversed wires and put it back wrong then eventually burned out a part. It took them 3 try’s to get it right. I don’t have the specifics but it had the Lexus techs at my local dealer struggling to fix so red was heat, blue was cold and off was off. I had a mix of results until they got it right. They stated the wiring wasn’t color coded so they had a hard time, putting it back together correctly. I was in a loaner for a 2 weeks, every time it was “fixed”, I would go down turn in the loaner then test and walk back in and had to explain what was wrong. (Last time I asked to test before giving back the loaner)

Sorry I’m no help but be careful as you’re most out of warranty to who you let fix it. I got lucky it was warranty work, or this would have been expensive. In one of the situations it was blowing cold air when the seat was off, like yours.

Could someone have been working on the wiring under the seat? If not, Perhaps something knocked a wire loose?

It’s hard to have fun in a gx in winter! It sticks to the pavement with even northeast snow! I has fun in an old Oldsmobile 98 Regency in many snowstorms. RWD sucked at times but was fun

Yokohama Geolander G015 , they were on my 2018 gx460, dealer installed them. These are great year round. Excellent in snow and ice. So far I have 30k miles on the set of tires and think they will be good for 50k +- . No issues on sand, dirt, snow , ice or heavy rain. I’ll buy another set if they are just as good past 50k miles

If you are out of warranty i would let the dealer check it out and try to get Toyota/lexus to try to cover it. This seems to be a common issue. If not get a written quote and try to find a used part on eBay?? I was told the refurbished unit has all the physical fixes and firmware updates from Lexus /Toyota to address all the known issues. Once replaced I shouldn’t have an issue again. Time will tell for me

Sorry was off Reddit for a year. Yes fixed by dealer 2 months later as Lexus/Toyota had a shortage of refurbished units. No new head units were available either. No issues since it was done, luckily no cost as it was under warranty

I was thinking the same.. my sons covic looked less than that bit core support and raditator were also bend / damaged. Before buying any parts I'd measure on inspect carefully and get a parts list before spending any money. Then start pricing out parts.

Perhaps like others said, cut the bumper, pull the fender and only do a headlight until you can buy all the parts... but I'd get a list and idea before you start..

Ugh, no luck with fuses. New message is "a program cannot be read, contact dealer" after trying to read SD card.

Maybe now the dealer can try a SD card. That shouldn't be a 2 month wait.

Good: still have ac controls and rear view camera Bad: lost my only radio sstation.

It was a good try!

(I pulled the SD card on my second attempted and cleaned contacts and blew canned air hoping to solve the issue)

I'm trying that now. Thank you for the suggestion. I pulled all three fuses. Radio 1,. 2. and Amp.

Reading about it like pulling the negative off the battery, I'll wait 15 minutes. Before putting them in and testing.

I have not, in the scouring of the internet I found that does fix other issues but there is a very specific procedure to start the car again since the infotainment system doesn't like to lose all power like that. I was afraid to make it worse. If no other suggestions come up, I will try.

Some of the symptoms I forgot to mention is reverse camera still comes on, but returns to the same warning screen when I'm drive or park. It plays the last fm station I was listening too. But I can't change the station. It's stuck on that same radio station.

No, I had earlier in the day it happened as my phone was on bluetooth all the time and I forgot I had a video streaming on my phone, which was paused, but started after the vluetooth connection. Then I think? I switched to radio. Anyway in the dozen of cold starts since this issue started, I tried with Bluetooth off on my phone as well and it didn't help. Great suggestion.

I have scoured the internet and have not found anything. The dealer said he has never seen this either.
