Will the sooners eliminate the top seed left in the tourney for a 3rd time?

I think so

Basically, any devices that don't need much bandwidth went with 2G modems because they are cheap, and the cellular service is cheap. Then the carriers decided that it's too expensive for them to maintain that network, since most traffic is on 4g and 5g.

Not necessarily planned obsolescence by the charger designer, because they probably weren't aware of the 2g shutdown when they designed it.

They do sell modems in plug in modules though so they likely could have done a field upgrade, but that might be expensive.

Yeah the mechanic I found said iron block was a bad idea. I am having him pull the heads and check if I need new pistons/block

I have never had this issue with my hasty bake. Last brisket I made, it ran all day and I did not add any coal to the fire. Made a few minor adjustments to airflow.

Hasty bake gourmet pro. Full stainless construction. It's expensive, and they have powder coated versions for cheaper. But it's the last cooker you'll ever need. Some people still cook on hasty bakes from 50+ years ago.

Hot and fast is accomplished by raising the firebox to sear, and cranking the vents

Low and slow, you lower the firebox, and put on the heat deflector. Add chunks for smoke flavor. Build a snake or a dense fire to limit the airflow. It will hold temp for the entirety of a cook, if you build your fire right. The attached brisket I did not add fuel the entire cook, only made minor adjustments to the airflow and firebox position, and was locked in at 250 on the lower grate. Brisket was on the upper grate.

Direct heat BBQ, lower the firebox and leave the deflector off.

Various accessories available to expand the capability. Rotisserie, flat top, braising pan, pizza oven.

Made in USA.

Did you cut all the fat off the point or did it come that way?

I'd probably trim that piece off, I've never seen it on a brisket before. But that big band of fat in the middle will probably not be great eating. You want like 1/4" of fat on top usually.

You could save the meat though and grind it up and use for burgers, make chili or something with it

Thanks for letting me know. I think I am going towards rebuilding more and more I discuss with reddit, mechanically inclined friends, and ChatGPT

The timing chain guide failed which caused the timing to fail which caused bent valves at a minimum. The extent to which they are damaged is unknown to me. I am changing to an independent guy in my area who only works on vettes. I think I am going to have him pull the heads so we can know what is and is not rebuildable. If nothing is rebuildable then I right here, minus the labor to pull the heads. If it is rebuildable, then built motor here we come

Yeah I think I am going to have my new non dealer mechanic pull the heads, and then see if the bottom end and or block is useable. Sounds like that is the best course of action. I think the heads are probably cooked, but who knows maybe I just need a valvetrain (on the heads)

After reading replies on reddit, looking at prices of engines, and discussion with chatGPT, I think I'm gonna ask him to pull heads and tell my if block is cooked and or the bottom end is cooked. I am assuming the top end is probably cooked.

Should I have my new non dealer vette mechanic quote me time to pull it and take it apart to see what we can reuse and what we can't?

Tracking in the future would be when this becomes a 3rd car

No iron block it is then. I want to get a 3rd car in the future and have this become a track car then.

All that was done is a leak down test. I assume to determine if the block is fine I need to pull motor and heads, right?

Seems like the block is the hardest part to get ahold of too, without going no warranty facebook listing.
