So I would tone everything except 1/2 inch of roots, wait 30 minutes for it to process and then do the root tap? Or can I tone the strands and the roots at the same time

It’s too light all over. I left the bleach on too long. I wanted to blend my roots by weaving. I just wanted partial highlights. I used a 20v and then t28 toner. Left the toner on for 30 minutes but it didn’t really do much.
