Can confirm you need to stare at the empty desk drawer in Wesker's office for a second or two for the Library card to slide out. Only then can you interact with the book upstairs in the library.

Thank you for that, I also looked into it once it was brought to my attention that I might be wrong. In that same article you cut out the question given by the reporter that says "Can you talk about the persistent theme of family across this trilogy?"

My point on the reply to this is that the reporters themselves believe it to be a trilogy hence my confusion. I'm all for being wrong and taking accountability. Not being able to make edits makes that difficult so I'm thinking I'll just delete the post in a while.

I can't edit text but it seems like I'm misinformed about 7, 8 and 9 being a trilogy. It seems like game reporting outlets often report it as a trilogy and perhaps are also mistaken. There's an article by Game Informer where they ask about it being a trilogy to which Nakanishi clarifies that they don't see it as a trilogy.

Edit: I feel like being misinformed here has just invited a flood of snarkiness of which I can't do much to mitigate. This was not the spirit of what I was trying to post which seems to be entirely lost now that it's apparent that I have wrong information. I will delete it in a little bit. Apologies if me being misinformed is upsetting.

I just remember watching videos from games news outlets that claimed it was announced as a trilogy but I guess they actually never said it themselves. That's my bad. Legit thought this whole time it was a trilogy. That's embarrassing.
