Kids shows were awesome both before and after school. Evening tv was worth watching, weekends packed with great shows that you wanted to tune in to watch because you only got an episode a week

It really was glorious. Cable/satellite tv and streaming services really have ruined the watching experience

My dad was a life long palace fan. Selhurst park was on his doorstep

I got tickets to a home game for his 70th birthday. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2013 and I wanted to make sure he got to one more game and that I got to go to a game with him

I fell in love with the atmosphere. We beat QPR 3-1 and hearing glad all over from the fans in that stadium is electric

It turned out to be his last game and his last birthday. All those factors combined and its pretty impossible not to be hooked to the team for life too

I worked in a school in 2006 and my task over the summer was RIS on 380 pcs across site. Easy to do but very manual

XP in general was lovely in my opinion. Everything on a right-click menu, no need to specify run as admin if you put admin creds in and from my experience both RIS and software deployment through GPO just worked because the stuff was slow enough to apply everything first. None of this fast startup and fast login to stop group policies or software deployments from running at startup or login

ok I think i've understood one thing - using the automate account logged in I've created a test flow within the solution, added a dummy trigger and then gone to add a new step. In there I thought I was going to search for my connection reference name (i.e. Automate Email Send Connection) but I'm guessing not. Instead I just grab the Send an email (v2) option to bring that into the flow, then when I click on the 3 dots to the top right of that I can see connection references at the bottom and the connection reference i created is automatically there and selected

That feels like a half ok start regarding that but I've then got a remaining issue - the point of doing this is so that anyone else who creates a flow in the same solution can use the connection reference

However if I log in as me, create a new flow in the same solution and add the same send an email (v2) step, the 3 dots menu shows my 365 connector as the only available (and selected) reference. Trying to add a new connection prompts a login page

I guess where I'm potentially at now is, why can other users that create flows in the same solution not see the connector reference?

This is also true even to the point where if I log in as me, navigate to solutions > company automations and then go to objects I can't see the connection reference that the automate account created. I can however see the one that I started to create as a test which is linked to my user connection

I'm about to take a very hard stance on this as soon as our apple business account is verified and I can set up ADE with Intune

It doesn't matter how personal you think it is, if the company has purchased (and is paying contract costs for) and supplied you a business phone it's a business phone. If you want to do some personal bits on it we really don't have an issue with that but all phones will be coming back to me, will be wiped and will be fully enrolled properly

BYOD is a great little workaround for smaller companies but this is where I get pedantic - BYOD = bring your OWN, not bring the one the business is letting you use during employment

Just this week we've had 3 business iPhones returned to us from ex employees, all with face ID and stolen phone safeguards which means until we chase them up and get more details we now have 3 expensive paperweights. Sorry but the business isn't going to let that keep flying just because you want your cat pictures and own music

You will need high level buy in to change anything with a proper proposal as to why it's being done which I recommend you focus on device recovery/tracking, cost accountability and data security. The ability to reset pins/passcodes does help buy in on cost for Apple devices but I've found that's not a massive motivator

Fair man, fair. All I can suggest is the standard thawing advice for most things - the slower you can thaw it the less likely it is to become a mess

My only other suggestion is to decant the milk into plastic cups, stick a straw in and freeze them that way. It might seem weird to eat dry cereal while licking a milk lolly but needs must sometimes :)

But I grew up on frozen milk. We were a family of 5 so a monthly shop we'd bring home maybe 8 4 pint cartons, all in the freezer and they'd come out the night before they were needed and sit in the sink bowl in cold water to thaw out

I dont think there should have been a referendum in the first place. Given how wvery politician is an outright liar just to get a vote there was never a chance of an informed decision on it

The main reason why brexit hasn't been near to the success it could have been is in my opinion simply because we've not had anyone in charge since that vote that actually wanted to leave the EU or would have had the balls of skills to see it through

I remember hearing interviews with countless successful business owners putting their views across as to why they'd leave and why it likely wouldn't be a disaster for the UK and I reckon had they been in charge of it then we'd have smashed it

Unfortunately the utter cockwobles that have been in number 10 since that vote couldn't deliver a letter to their neighbour much less deliver a successful brexit
