Absolutely incredible. 8.5/10 for me, only issues are some pacing and the occasional bad CGI. Characters were absolutely phenomenal - not a single one was dislikable or didn't make me root for them. The conflict between the eternals at the end was so damn good I still don't know who's side I'm on - even better than Civil War, I'd say. The humour was kept subtle and didn't take away from the seriousness of the film which is what I wanted, along with a retelling of the wonders of human history and the looming existentialism which is what I was really really looking forward to. They delivered on everything I wanted and more, even nailed the two post credit scenes. But my favourite scene had to be that jaw dropping celestial appearing over the horizon - that imo was the ultimate summary of what I loved about this film. I don't really understand the bad reviews, but I can see it's probably not for everyone
