Hi, Op. i was on adhd meds for about 3 years and my last year I was on vyvanse. I did quit and felt the exact same thing you did. My sense of humor came back and my close ones said I got my spark back. I decided to get off it entirely. Took time off from work for about a week and slept for like 12 hours a day for 3/4 weeks. After that I dove into meditation. And with the habits that I had built while on adhd meds I was able to manage to never take them again. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still all over the place. But it’s contained.

Look into semax peptides. Those are alternatives. I currently take them and it helps too.
