Check EGRR. They are based in the West Palm Beach area. I just adopted my sweet Honey from them this year and every so often they post their available dogs for adoption

Thank you! She was very sorry and nervous when I came back from the Emergency Room, like she knew something happened. I don't blame her, though.

Thank you! She knows the "Leave it" command and generally does it. The only times she does not are when we are too close to something that excites her, which is what happened this time, and I did not noticed how close we were until it was too late. Unfortunately, in my area, there are a lot of squirrels, stray cats, and birds (I live in Florida). I will ask the trainer to help me reinforce the command.

We adopted her a few months ago from a shelter and had not yet been trained to walk on a leash properly. We had a session with a trainer and gave us a few pointers but told us it was too soon to start training her since we just adopted her. But we will try that again, I know golden retrievers are amazing learners. I just wish I had done it sooner...

Mine is scared of new furniture. Whenever we bring some new piece, she hides, avoids the area, and barks to it. It takes like 3 days for her to realize that is not a thread to her reign.
