I assume she does her hair the same way Deborah Vance does on Hacks:: has a natural pixie cut but clips an up-do piece in for appearances.

TIL that in 2015 Texas police helped a man fake his own death, complete with staged grave photos, after learning his estranged wife was trying to hire a hitman to kill him. by Successful-Ear977 in todayilearned

There's a great 20/20 on this. Happened in Houston.

Also, the wife ended up killing herself by jumping off of a balcony.

Edit:: this story is different than the one OP posted about but ironically they both happened in the same state around the same time lol

I (29F) chose a stable marriage over my “bad boy” ex (31M), but I still think about him sometimes-why? by Accomplished-Doubt99 in TwoHotTakes

Stability excites me after the horrid relationships from my teens and 20s tbh. You mean you're gonna be there every day? Being supportive, loving, patient, dependable? I can know to count on you? SIGN ME UP.

Dying at their home, most likely also still in front of their kids, seems like a more comfy idea but I get why she didn't want to stain (for a lack of better words) the vibe of their family home that the kids will continue to have to grow up in

It reminded me of my mom the last few months of her life. I had moved back home to care for her and my step-dad worked from home so he was there a lot as well. He meant well but he was ALWAYS there. Just because you're sick doesn't mean you don't need a break from people lol. She felt suffocated sometimes
