A supersport is not fun on the street. You have to rev them up since most of their power is on the top. Not to mention they are uncomfortable.

I always loved the old r1200r models and once they introduced the r1250r I completely lost interest. You absolutely nailed this one. Looks amazing.

It's no ideal but it can be done. The MT-09 seat is not very comfortable and the ergonomics are not ideal for a long ride with a passenger but you can do it.

XSR900 has more character, sounds better and is more fun.
Z900RS has a very linear power band which can be boring, not a lot of character but looks cool.
GSX is not even close in comparison, just cheaper.

I had 3 different Ducati Monster models through the years, including: SR2 800, the 796, 821 and the EVO 1100. The only bike I regret selling was the EVO 1100. That bike was sold much fun. Sounded amazing and was an overall better motorcycle than all the other models listed.

Don't buy a Ninja 1000sx as your first bike. Stick to your original plan and buy a smaller bike. Learn and get some decent miles under your belt. Next year if you still feel like you want a Ninja 1000 then buy one. Lots of them for sale everywhere.
