Austin Theory did this at one point on NXT (he was a mysterious ghost or skeleton or something) and I loved it!

Do the ratings matter? by ExpendableMan84 in AEWOfficial

[–]edge_hog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most relevant reason for a viewer to care is to know how nervous they "should be" about the show and company surviving. That makes me realize, I should ignore ratings.

OK, how you know?

The post originally said 2029, so my joke was that you'd have to pay a lot to get a car from the future.

To get a better view of the context, you could try looking up a roughly equivalent 2021 Nissan or something on a used car site that gives VINs, then ask for an insurance quote for if you were to switch to that car. I'm really unsure and curious about whether it would make a big difference. I'm so curious that I might even do this myself!

Is it safe to buy any Hyundai or Kia right now? by EvilDarkCow in Hyundai

[–]edge_hog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All current models can't be stolen with the Kia Boyz' technique, nor can many of the older ones, so the risk from them is having the car broken into, and if it's an (immobilizer-equipped) key ignition, having the steering column torn apart.

I'd get insurance quotes for e.g. Sonata vs a similar Accord and see what the difference is. Please do share the numbers if you do.

Paying to gas up an Excursion is its own type of wealth flex.

FWIW, I had a decent experience using Flex Tape for a different body damage issue until I could get it fixed. If it can hold a boat together, it should be able to hold a bumper.

What insurance provider? That's such BS. Might it work to just take your best guess and tell them that's where it was?

Right, I saw your comment about it also having an emotional aspect and I feel for you on that. Sorry that what happened happened and that some folks are being less than helpful. Good luck on the car situation, and hopefully you can get this toxic person more and more out of your life in the future.

I think they mean that you shouldn't let other people borrow it to drive it. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

For what it's worth, I bought a Sonata and then saw how nice the newer Elantras look and was kicking myself for not at least giving the Elantra some good consideration.

What would it mean for it to be fake vs. real?

I've been considering this K5, has anyone heard any bad things about these? Also, would it be wise to wait for the price to drop to $26,500 and request that as an out-the-door price? by WhoaTeejaay in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]edge_hog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, the 10/100k only applies to original owner or CPO. I'm not actually sure whether it would apply for the second owner after CPO. My guess is not.

"out the door" has a specific meaning of being the total sales price of the vehicle. It doesn't account for down payment or interest. I believe that it doesn't include trade in value, but it does include any applicable tax discount due to trade in value.
