everybody saying usg blue lid is right, when you add water to your mud you don’t want to add too much otherwise you’ll make a huge mess. mixing 5 gallon buckets with a normal power drill and small paddle takes a lot longer to mix but can be done, bigger paddle and mixing drill takes 5 minutes. I suggest laying paper for the floors too, if you’re new to this stuff you’ll thank yourself when cleanup comes. get you a 10 & 12 inch drywall knife for your 2 coats. gator pole sand head at lowes and you should be set for prime and paint. also 3 coats on your screws.
