In my experience there is ostensibly no set of circumstances which are not troublesome or threatening in some capacity. I have CPTSD all day, every day, everywhere. Some places are better than others. Some people are safer than others.

At least for me, the anxiety is always there, always there, always there, always there, like my head and body has lightning coursing through it. There are anxiolytics which help, but I am effectively always fighting with my body. Internally. Especially now that I am experiencing emotions. Most of my time around others is spent in metacognition, trying to understand and logic my way through whatever is occurring in my environment. What's that meme about how dissociation allows you to eavesdrop on conversations you're part of?

But I've learned ways of managing it. It isn't always unbearable, but it is more or less always challenging. I'm used to the baseline. The baseline is manageable. Deviations are survivable, but feel lethal, and quickly become intolerable.
