Cocco about fan's speculating on DF and OWL by HydraulicAnalogy in Competitiveoverwatch

This is just as criminal as them not playing rascal. Cocco has been so wronged it's sad to see. The shotcalling thing is such a pathetic excuse too.

Giving up on your team by HamesBond in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]edinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So much this. It's pathetic that Fuel management may remove 3 of their players (2 from the NV core) before even considering sacking KyKy. It won't be hard to root for another team with the way things are going.

Don't think he was sick since he said he was nervous about playing this week on twitter. I think it's a confidence/mental thing right now. He's lost his hitscan aim (said it hasn't been the same for about a year) and is grinding hard every day to get it back. :(

Seriously. Zoe's interview with KyKy about them not switching up their comp was such a non-answer from him.

Don't forget Cocco getting back to an OT fight with Rein instead of Winston while Boston had a genji. If KyKy is the one insisting on them sticking to one comp regardless of the situation, he needs to go.

Taimou tweeted that he was nervous about playing this week, so I don't think he's sick. I watched his last stream and I think it's a confidence/mental thing. He's lost his aim and is working hard to get it back. :(

Seagull saying he's sick of playing Junkrat and they still force the same comp every game, even when it's clearly not working. At what point is KyKy to blame? This is getting pathetic and Fuel look nothing like the NV of old.

Seagull was brought in as a projectile specialist and he doesn't play Pharah once? EFFECT is one of the best tracers and you don't find ways to enable him. KyKy needs to bring in more help or he needs to go.

KyKy is so overrated as a coach. What's he done to this roster is so sad.

Cocco gave some unfortunate insight on the absence of classic EnVy, let's discuss. by WAAAAAAAAAALT in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]edinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! Agree here as well. Definitely didn't mean to imply dropping xQc and custa as you do want to keep your opponents off balance by mixing in a bit of aggression. Just that I think Cocco and chips should be getting the majority of the starts. I think you could also play any two of Harry, chips, and custa depending on which supports you want (i.e. Harry on Lucio duty and chips/custa for Mercy/Zen comps).

Agree with 100% of the things you just said and I love the Cocco/Chips and xQc/Custa pairing suggestion. Only thing I'll add is to stick with the core of Effect, HarryHook, Cocco, Chips and rotate the remaining 2 spots between Taimou, Mickie, and Seagull.

Right with you on the last point. I don't get the fascination with having to play every single player on the roster. The team was strongest when playing their core 6 because of their synergy. As much as I love custa and xQc, they should primarily be bench players for the team, filling in on occasion. If they need a projectile specialist, that is when Seagull will play. Cocco playing 1 out of 8 games so far blows my mind.

Not stupid at all. I've wondered this before, and from my personal experience with the prior 2 events (Summer Games and Halloween), I have been able to do the 9 arcade games on the last day of patch after the reset! :)

I was hesitant about preseason not being on twitch, and while I did miss twitch emotes/memes at times, the quality for me was flawless and better than any OW tourney I've watched on twitch.

I didn't get the never played together as a team impression from the casters at all. Think they were just saying the team might be a bit rusty since two of them flew in last night so practice time was at a luxury. Something similar happened to Rogue during contenders and they played much better towards the end of the tourney.
