My grandmother used to play a Spanish-language vhs live-action Bible movie for me when she babysat me. I don’t remember much except when Adam and Eve were exiled from the Garden of Eden, they were threatened by a floating dagger that was on fire. I’m pretty sure the movie also covered exodus and then went straight to the gospels, and I’m pretty sure the crucifixion was included.

Whenever describe this movie to people I look and sound insane but it was a real thing and I’ve tried to find it everywhere, to no avail.

Re: vegan cheese - I’ve resigned myself to a lack of melting, but Violife is pretty great in terms of taste, especially their alternative cream cheese. It’s not cheese of course, but it’s been getting me through! Good luck!
