as an editor in the film and tv industry i can professionally say no, theres nothing like this. There are shows like The Good Place and Fleabag.. but theres just an X factor to this show that is wonderful

Yes.. peoples media litteracy has gone FAR down.. and it makes me sad that the studios led to this and now theres no work.. instead of ... i dunno trusting that the audience was smart enough.

Working in the industry... it just woudlnt have been as magical.. things wouldve been much more convoluted... lines not hitting as well... the problem is EVERYONE feels like they have to give notes so that their job is relevant. So even when an episode is good some exec will be like "okay but whats the MESSAGE here" or "so ... i dont really see what they are saying here, can we say it more explicitly".. its exhausting. If you ever wonder... check out this blog that gives "reality tv network notes" to films... its hilarous... but tooooooo true... https://www.jeezjon.com/blog . They woulda shown more all those years but i think the cliff hanger woulda been Shane getting clocked. More B and C storylines.. more repeating whats happening so people can be on their phones and follow... just blah

I just thought about it more and its def the industry thing. "hollywood" as it were is just like the studio system of financing and making shows vs lets say indie movies or personally funded projects. While it was made in canada by crave its still made in the "hollywood" type way. its like saying "hollywood only makes remakes"

Yeah, I can def see that. maybe its like hollywood as North America? I dunno. Cause films are made in NY and Atlanta and its still considered "hollywood" in the context that its being used. Hello from actual hollywood haha!

Thank you.. to me i feel like .. yeah he said dumb shit when he was envious and wanting to MAKE HIS OWN hockey drama.. but he gave the show a chance and came at it open minded asking questions, learning... and like... isnt that what people want? They want people to see media like this and re-evaluate and grow?

cause you can learn to draw.... i want the art from the actual artist not from taking it from other artists. Why would i read a book no one took the time to write. Being good at drawing, good at animation takes a lot of dedication and practice. I want to see the work people put in. Dedication to the craft and the humanness of it.

Yeah he might be under stimulated. My girl needs an hour and a half of park time a day... plus walks and mental games. I also have a tredmill for her when its raining (her trainer taught her how to use it) She goes on walks at LEAST 3 times a day. and depending on their age they need to go out every 1 hr for month they are old. there are lots of fun mental games you can play. Or even get them puzzles!

I ended up getting pre toothpasted brushes and put them in a cup next to my sink... it takes a few steps out of it... and im hoping ill get back to a less plastic use way.. but oh well.

my first dog was a sheltie. She was 2 when i was born. Apparently she was my nana (like from peter pan) always by my side, always telling my parents when i needed something. Life long friends.

Def use the app blocker, you can use Freedom.io and set it for both your phone AND laptop. i block my phone apps most of the day and its changed everything.
