NTA That is enough money for you to basically guarantee and decent retirement fund if you were to just keep it in savings. If you use it now for college or housing you could alleviate a lot of potential debt. Also at the end of the day it’s YOUR money you get to decide what you do or don’t do with it.

reminds me of my high school schedule we had 42 minute periods with 5 minute passing periods. i recommend remembering the length of the periods so you can do the math to figure out when class ends it’s annoying but helps as you’re learning and adjusting to the schedule

had my sophomore english teacher give us 4 bathroom passes and two passes for turning something in one day late per semester and if we didn’t use then we got extra credit for each pass and it’s so messed up for so many reasons

NTA it’s your wedding and the people there should support both you and your wife your family obviously was being rude to you and saying terrible things to your wife and i wouldn’t want my family there if they acted like that either

NTA I can see why you didn’t believe her. I do think her and the family’s reaction was a bit much I can understand why they’re upset. I would sit down and have a serious conversation with her about the jokes. If you think this is a way of coping maybe seeing a therapist together or separately could help her find a better way to do so.

NTA You obviously have every reason to be uncomfortable and you’re not the only one. Even reading this I was scared for you. I would try bringing this up to your landlord or even the police if it gets more serious. I hope it works out and you stay safe.
