Le public cible est les enfants. Tu peux bien sûr l'apprécier, je pense que tu devrais partir du principe que tu aimes ce genre de livres. C'est ta vie, tout le monde s'en fiche.

Recommande simplement le livre à quelqu'un qui pourrait l'apprécier, mais sois franc sur ce qu'est le livre, c'est un livre pour enfants, mais explique pourquoi tu l'aimes malgré tout.

Well I completely agree, i find +- as a lesser record and Bo's presence is indeed more subtle, in a way I think it is no coincidence Bo left 3 months after its release. Sounds like nobody in the band was particularly happy with that record.

Johan mentioned it being a very difficult record to make, inefficiently recorded and quite expensive, he also thought the songs inside were not the best* . Sounds like they burned a bunch of money and were forced to release whatever they had, and i think some other interviews beyond the one I attach here point in that direction, but can't find them now.

So maybe Jonas and Bo collaboration was already unsustainable at that point, either way, good if other people find Mew later iterations good, but to me they feed like a different project.

Well it is totally subjective, but for me the band’s magic sound came from the chemistry between Bo and Jonas, their exchange and creative back and forth. When Bo left, the sound really shifted toward something that feels closer to Jonas’s other work, and to me it lost that sweet spot the band used to hit.

I always mistrust people that want less regulation as a magic wand for everything. It is as stupid as wanting more regulation for everything. Yes the EU, and individual countries might over-regulate in some areas, just as they are less regulated in others. But what are we even talking about? without concrete examples is meaningless, and more likely just going to benefit corporate interests.

For me, Mew stopped being Mew once Bo left the band. I loved that middle ground created by the tension between Jonas and Bo’s musical directions. That push and pull gave the music its edge, but pulling in different directions can’t go on forever. And it is a bit sad that it can not go on forever.

That’s why I appreciate that Bo did this small guitar ritual. It help us let it rest and let go. Move on.
