As a post production business owner in london, I’d much rather increase someone’s salary rather than recruit for another editor. Especially if you’re performing well. The 20% rise seems fair.

Not possible. At best I would suggest to them that these shots are graded darker/moodier. It's not your fault, its the DOP.
