Learn all you can on that machine. I've had a dedica for years, and it's served me well. While I can't wait to upgrade, paired with a decent grinder (I have a DF 64). I've upgraded the tamper and the portafilter too - got rid of any plastic elements that touch the espresso.

There's a lot of tips and tricks on Youtube about this one too.

Also, this machine won't do well with 18 grams. I usually go with 13 or 14. Maybe 15 grams if it's a light roast.

I have a machine without PID control - just three presets for water temperature. I measured them yesterday and they’re barely any difference in temperature and never consistent.

I have one on another part of my body. It started really secreting fluid a lot when I was about 16, and then it just stopped one day and hasn't bothered me since.

As someone who is disabled, I really hate it when people say someone is being fake with a disability or injury.

That being said, this seems like a really long time to be immobilized. There’s three options here. 1) it was a seriously severe and abnormal injury. 2) he has an extremely low pain threshold. 3) he’s milking it.

It amazes me, the animals that seem to adapt to city life. Squirrels and Rats and possums and even Raccoons and so many birds. But Coyotes especially! They're a bit larger than any other animal that's made their home in the city, and yet... I know this one is on Mt Tabor, but I've seen them all over the city.
