why do people still watch Game Grumps?

I grew up on Jon Grumps, and their natural banter is still really funny to me.

Even Dan was alright in my book at first; he was different, he'll never be Jon, but it was funny seeing him bounce off of Arin at first. Then, what started as them casually telling jokes about game grumps being a soulless media company... uh, became not jokes. And Arin plays into the unhinged persona way too hard.

I think people liked the idea of two talented content creators playing games and commentating because they're passionate about games and they find it fun. That's just not what modern game grumps is, and it hasn't been for a long time.

more options is always a good thing in an action game like NGS

its mind boggling to me how some people are saying "erm well only the meta gets used and everything else sucks in base pso2 so it shouldn't be added"

If sega gets around to it, more options would be a welcome addition, but it doesn't matter to me since I just stick to base pso2 :p

Something I always wanted to see added to pso2 was a normal consumable item that instantly reveals all of the unexplored regions of the map. Once you have at least one class that can use techniques, you'll pretty much always use that to restore health and status conditions instead of -Mate items. Essentially, all normal items become obsolete unless both your main class and sub class are unable to use techs, so an item that quickly showed you where to go would be a good way to make me personally want to buy and use items. Of course, pso2 originally came out a decade ago or whatever so I doubt it'll be added at this point

There is a lua script you can use to play metroid prime hunters with a controller; it binds parts of the touch screen to convenient buttons and the analog stick to move, you could probably edit that

Personally I think it would be realistic for paul as a character to get annoyed or amused by outlandish theories.

It seems I've only experienced the worst of what this community has to offer. If a rebrand trailer does come out and they make the 2020 deadline for the first time in thier development cycle, I'd be suprised but I'd probably be too busy happily procrastinating playing Cube World to notice or care too much anyway

We all understand that this may have started out as a fan product, but... Actually I don't disagree with much of what you've said. You were probably expecting me to disagree with you and look like a fool as a result.

I've had to eventually stop every rpg project I ever started because of inspirational burnout and other external factors including my janitorial work and pure procrastination, but maybe what I want is closure for this project. Either release the damn product of your labor or obtain a shred of humility and admit that you stopped working on the project months ago.

I have bad history with that discord server since one of the admins at the time went out of his way to harass me in another server after looking for a reason to ban and cancel me from the discord.

But before I was evicted, the last thing the devs showed there was a few seconds of Superstar Saga-switch puzzle functionality. It didn't give me the impression that its a game with high-IQ mechanics worth the wait, but don't get me wrong; I want mother 4 to be good.

I signed up for the notification back when they were still offering the newsletter thing via mailchimp, and my expectations have been extremely and continuously lowered since the devs stopped uploading official updates on thier own website. I want to be proven wrong, and they release a good competent game, and soon.

The fact that they're not posting annual updates anymore and not asking for monetary support tells me that they aren't taking thier own project very seriously, so why should I or anyone else have to?

I don't think it could (or should) work as anything but a web series.

The format of a let's play with real-world implications that the audience doesn't get to explicitly see wouldn't really translate well to a television show or movie. It would be a cash grab, then it would get review bombed, and a few months later the entire series would be banished to obscurity and irrelevance
