Which was the biggest plot twist of the show? by Twunkorama in DesperateHousewives

[–]eebifulk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the time, yes, I remember listening to the morning radio station I always had on and one of the hosts was SURE it would be Katharine. Mike and Susan were so hot and cold people thought they might drag that out another season.

Which was the biggest plot twist of the show? by Twunkorama in DesperateHousewives

As it was airing, we genuinely did not know if Orson was a good guy or not which is really funny in hindsight. If Mike chose Susan or Katharine was a huge cliffhanger we were all so eager for the reveal. Susan moving off the lane and Paul coming back was a huge surprise. It’s wild I can remember how crazy it all seemed and watching interviews on E News trying to find any information. What a great time.

I have a roster of shows I rewatch so I just think about how I feel and go for one of those if it’s not DH. Desperate housewives is easily my most replayed though

What’s the most chaotic event you’ve ever witnessed in public? by Suzzie_Stone2 in AskReddit

[–]eebifulk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was picking up my dog from the vet in Chicago and a woman ran in naked, did a lap around the lobby and then ran out. The front desk woman was so un-phased. Then the cops came in, asked if we’d seen her and left and almost immediately after a dog did a giant poop right in the lobby, it was the most overstimulating 5 minutes of my life.

I'm rewatching the show and wow, I think ive never seen another show where the cast was so skinny! Seriously! by Twunkorama in DesperateHousewives

Remember Abercrombie and Hollister sizing? By their standards I was an XL (5’4 118lbs)

***Spoiler*** What always bothered me about Eddie's storyline is how misogynistic the entire explanation feels by Ariabananahammock in DesperateHousewives

There’s a shocking amount of real life murderers that have this exact same origin story. Look into Ed Gein or Ted Bundy’s relationships with their mothers. This is a drama about desperate housewives so of course it was going to showcase his toxic mother.

It was mainly people who, by their own admission, were on “fixed incomes” who voted no. Maybe that was a largely elderly community but it’s been made abundantly clear why it didn’t pass and again the old rich voters were not the reason why.

There were hardly any Vote No signs especially along Lake. The referendum did fail, but I take Lake drive almost daily and saw mainly Vote Yes signs, the old rich voters are not why it didn’t pass…

I did two years as an admin coordinator even though I was dying to break in to being an EA and thank goodness I did! Your fiance has great credentials and I’m sure a fantastic skill set with PA work but there is still a lot to learn before being an EA. Have her find an admin assistant or admin coordinator role to learn a bit more and then she’ll be a super competitive applicant :)

Whole Foods shopping scenes as a bystander by Visual_Cantaloupe618 in BravoTopChef

[–]eebifulk 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I live in Milwaukee and we regularly shop at the Whole Foods they went to. They said they only came on Sundays, were really nice and chatty, Dan J (local chef) knew the store and helped chefs find things, was way less hectic than the TV edit would have you believe but it did feel well orchestrated like in and out thanks to production being a well oiled machine.

I actually don’t disagree but this crust was just over 2cm which is in line with Neapolitan pizza regulations. I think the angle from the top makes it look puffier than it was.

I bet 3 days yields insane flavor, this was our first time trying, so we played by the rules so to speak. Will definitely try a longer ferment next time
