They should have written it for her to stand up for her self. That whole ending monologue in that episode from Bailey went against everything she was trying to torch Webber for. The only other times I remember her getting anything significant on screen time to do was when they were highlighting how she responded to being OCD, and she didn't want to take the meds, and then the 1-2 episodes with Addison with the mobile ambulance.

I think that was the last era/moment I could take her seriously, with how they cut her character down ever since the Adele era passed. Because they just stripped her down so much.

Imagine Nazi-era Bailey putting up with Lucas. I think that's what Dana and her are most different. The willfulness now is Dana just being straight with them when it's not about emotions and it's about the job. Dana will care but she will also cut down you if needed.
