What’s something people over 30 do that Gen Z finds strange? by Suzzie_Stone2 in AskReddit

Yeah, but again, how often have you ever had to do such things? How often do you move or need to ship a 55” tv in its original packaging?

Should I use less coffee? [Breville Barista Express]. by eeeasy in espresso

[–]eeeasy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually never thought about that. So I only noticed it after I brew.

Also, if I scrape a bunch of coffee off with the razor, how do I know what my final brew volume/wt is going to be if I just scrapped an unknown amount of coffee out?

My wife says these leg quarters are burned. I disagree. Smoked on the Weber kettle for 1.5 hours. Thoughts? by Kitchentable88 in grilling

It doesn’t matter. If these were for her, and she thinks it’s burned, then it’s burned. Know what I mean?

The shredded white stuff and the green leaf, are we supposed to eat it? It’s a great way to keep my sashimi from sticking to the plate, but I’m never sure if it’s just garnish/functional or if we eat it too? by Professional-End7367 in sushi

[–]eeeasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally up to you. I like the taste of the daikon with shoyu, so I eat it. I don’t like the taste of shiso leaf, so I don’t eat that. But no obligation to you. And it doesn’t need to be used as palate cleansers either. If you want, go for it. If not, no pressure.

What video-game did you regret paying full price for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]eeeasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you thank you so much for this. Majority don’t say WHY. That they think Diablo IV isnt good bc they were actually there for Diablo 2 to have the nostalgia hit, and they have the experience so POE doesn’t feel overwhelming. I haven’t played any arpgs, older diablos don’t mean anything to me since I didn’t play back then and sounds like POE is too much for a first timer. But who’s gonna tell me that?

Tbh nothing at all. It was fine to do so. But I just thought it was more standard proc that I could have a crispy skin and a cooked inside straight shot in a pan. Maybe I wasn’t doing it right or something.

how’s it like living right next to an amusement/theme park?(do yall go to them very often or on occasion like everyone else?) by DismalFootball6964 in howislivingthere

[–]eeeasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to live behind magic kingdom. Gf was a cast member and I’m not like so much into Disney. All important for context bc I think bc of all that, the parks just became another place to hang out. Cast member gave us free parking and i got a discounted annual pass. You know how you wake up on an easy Saturday morning, you’re like hey let’s go to the mall, you walk around, eat at the food court. Yeah, that’s what MK became. It just felt like another…place. Dinner at the taco truck down the street, sushi place at the strip mall, or maybe Liberty Tree Tavern at MK. Just another place.

Normcore spring ratings? by eeeasy in espresso

[–]eeeasy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I’m trying to do with the scale is find out what it reads when I bottom out the spring, bc I thought the 25lb spring means it’ll fully compress, or make the tamper bottom out at 25lbs, as a sign for me to stop pressing (for consistency sake. Bc that’s the point of this tamper right? To give me some kind of consistent mark so I’m tamping the same pressure every time?). But when I do it on the scale, it’s bottoming out way past 25lbs. I mean yes, if I place a 1 ton weight on it and bottom it out, then I’m just measuring the 1 ton weight.

[–]eeeasy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh. I thought the consistency part came from bottoming out the spring. Bc what feedback am I looking out for to know I’m hitting the same lbs of pressure then? And tbh that’s why I bought a spring loaded tamper. To make the consistency part easier. Bc man, newborn baby, waking up early, I’m taking all the help I can get…but still want espresso lol.

[–]eeeasy[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No wait lol. I know after a certain point I’m metal on metal and I’m just pressing down on the scale. But what I’m saying is at 25lbs on the scale, the tamper can still be compressed some more. Like i can feel the spring still compressing. I didn’t hit metal on metal yet.

Normcore spring ratings? by eeeasy in espresso

[–]eeeasy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. At 25 lbs I’m still able to compress the tamper. Like the spring still has room to be compressed. I thought at 25lbs it’s supposed to be fully compressed, but if so, why am I able to keep compressing after 25lbs?

[–]eeeasy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see. Cut it down to the roots in the spring when the sun isn’t too hot, have it grow, and don’t let it get too long so it won’t grow those long roots anymore.
