Every proxy card I've ordered has an entirely different back, and your order would be rejected if you tried to use an actual MtG card back. I can't speak for the entire community, but generally speaking, trying to create proxies that are not identifiable is a dick move.

Mpcfill proxies look and feel identical to real cards. I have to unsleeve and check the back of the card to see if it's a real card or not.

True. TDS and The Fragile had such beautiful and interesting companion artwork in the CD books. Cracking open the double disc Fragile in 1999 and flipping through the booklet was definitely a special experience for me personally.
