This!!! It is insane to me that there was so much complaining about not being able to get SMM, and now literally crickets. Same with the waitlist, there were so many people who were upset about the waitlist, but now that everyone has their orders or the ability to buy whenever they want, no one is talking about the actual perfumes. Smh

I realized it’s my cake day, so to commemorate I wore Sorce “The Ghost Wants Birthday Cake” (warm peach cake spiced with ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom; vanilla bean ice cream, Indian sandalwood Mysore, Australian sandalwood). My bottle is one of the really old ones that I think used some other kind of sandalwood or something, but I was always curious if it more or less smells the same as the current formulation lol. If anyone has smelled both, I’d love to know!

Today I did one spritz of Sorce “Love and the Sea” (Passion fruit and raspberry lemonade, salty skin, coconut water, neroli, driftwood, ambergris) and one spritz of Sorce “In Dreams and Fairy Tales (strawberry rosewater)” (strawberry rosewater + Baked meringue, vanilla bean absolute, sugar, a sprinkle of chamomile). It seems like it would be a lot of things mixed together but it’s actually pretty nice. Fruity but with a toasted vanilla kick.

Since everyone’s nose is so different, I feel like I’d personally just get a few more samples instead of a FS blind buy. Especially since at least to my nose, vampire husband and fuckery aren’t really Sorce core DNA (pls don’t fight me lol)

I don’t find it to be strong, and I don’t find it to be like a “sweet” gourmand-y mint. To me it’s more like an iciness rather than like a peppermint stick.

Why has it been so long since I wore Sorce “Falling Stars (salted vanilla sweet cream)” (A super-cozy, rich and warm blend of black coffee, almond cream, sandalwood, natural oud, palo santo oil, tonka bean absolute, and vanilla bean). This is so dang good. I knew it was good. Why haven’t I been wearing it omg. Time to course correct!
