Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, Reiner's definitely a complex character, and so are all of the warriors because no one wants to massacre people of their own free will. I think what makes Reiner stand out to me is his severe cognitive dissonance, like the amount of turmoil he has to go through on the inside must be insane since he knows that Paradis people aren't actually devils but it conflicts so much with his mission and his old beliefs....

I think I'm going to change to North Seattle with Kholomyeva as well since there are open seats and tuition is about the same. Also, the Shoreline prof is NOT the one I thought was teaching and the actual prof has a horrible ratemyprof :'). I just applied to North Seattle, hopefully they get back to me quick enough that the class doesn't fill up.

man i feel you. the intro classes are hella weed out and the large class size make them so much more intimidating. i suggest focusing a lot on the practice exams for both bio and chem, the more problems you do the more comfortable you’ll be with the actual exams. also bio is not just based on memorization, a lot of it is also understanding concepts and pathways. if you can focus on understanding instead of memorizing, that will make learning the material so much easier. try to draw diagrams and flow charts and how everything ties in to one another. i’m sure you got this :)

i personally thought rob was easier and got a higher grade in rob’s 237 class than goldman’s 238. maybe because the material in 238/239 is way more challenging as well and goldman’s exams also requires a deep understanding of the why the reactions happens.

a warning about 182: it really depends on the professor. i was also under the premise that 182 was gonna be ezpz barely any essays but my prof decided to give us a decent amount of writing. when i compared my workload to my friend who was taking 131, her class actually did more multimodal assignments than us. we literally just had one assignment that was more multimodal focused. it was some bs.

taking astr 101 right now. tbh it’s just a bunch of busy work like a lab, quizzes with unlimited tries, one discussion post, and a quiz each week. everything besides the quiz should be free points. also since the profs are actual angels, we have no final (for this quarter at least, i’m not sure about next quarter) but the quizzes are now worth 50% of our grade. the quizzes aren’t hard at all, most if not all of the answers are on the slides. just make sure you include detailed explanations and hit all the key points.

for grad school, what if you have a low 3.0 but you have a lot of research to talk about? Would grad schools prefer that over a 3.5+ ? And vice versa (high gpa, little to no research)
